Effective July 3, 2023 DPD Announces New Mandatory Online Non-Emergency Reporting
In order to free up officers for higher emergency calls, Dallas Police Department has announced that all NON-EMERGENCY reports/calls should be made online at https://dallaspolice.net/
The following are examples of the types of incidents that should be reported using this system. NOTE: If the incident you are reporting has a known suspect, you should call instead.
– Vehicle accident
– Burglary of a coin machine
– Burglary of a motor vehicle
– Credit/Debit card abuse
– Criminal mischief
– Graffiti
– Harassing phone calls
– Identity theft
– Interference with child custody
– Lost property
– Wreckless damage
– Theft
– Theft of service
– Theft – shoplifting
