NOCUPP ANALYSIS OF CRIME IN DISTRICT 1
Based on data reported by the DPD, NOCUPP performed an analysis of crime in District 1 (North Oak Cliff) vs. crime in other areas of Dallas. The analysis demonstrates that crime levels in North Oak Cliff are better than the average rate for the city, and generally in the mid-range of all city council districts (there are districts with lower crime rates and districts with higher crime rates).
