Every year, each of us has a 1 in 10 chance of being a victim of theft, burglary, assault, vandalism, car jacking, or robbery at gunpoint. North Oak Cliff residents are banding together to do something about it.

Since November of 2007, the North Oak Cliff United Police Patrol has employed off-duty Dallas police officers to patrol our streets and alleys. The officers have the same authority to stop and arrest as when on duty, and drive marked Dallas Police patrol cars.

As of January 2012, NOCUPP statistics are very impressive.

This program is supported only by voluntary contributions by residents. While the patrol will deter crime for all residents, only contributors will receive these benefits.
